History of creation
Traditionally the higher school libraries have been
formed as local book collections with their contents
corresponding to educational goals and curriculums.
A large amount of textbooks, handbooks, manuals, and
other aids forms the main part of any such collection.
Principles and strategy of fund acquisition
Nowadays the educational requirements and demands cause
an increase in independent work and self-education of
students. Therefore, there are some basic principles
that have been involved here: purchasing academic books
to certain proportions and release of the BIA's own
books. To-day we have got one of the richest book collections
where best works of famous authors and outstanding scientists
in diverse fields of knowledge have been presented.
